Express written consent

Every web-form lead submitted to MerchantSourced includes the following express written consent text, with the timestamp, IP address, user agent, and consent text version captured server-side at submission:

By submitting, I consent to be contacted by MerchantSourced and its lending partners by phone, SMS, and email at the number/address provided, including by autodialed/prerecorded means, even if my number is on a do-not-call list. Consent is not a condition of any service. Message and data rates may apply.

Buyer obligations

All buyers contractually agree to (a) honor opt-out requests immediately, (b) not contact merchants outside of 8am-9pm in the merchant's local time zone, (c) maintain their own internal DNC lists, and (d) provide their own consent capture for any subsequent re-contact through marketing channels not covered by the original submission consent.

Affiliate intake

Affiliates posting leads to /api/v1/leads/intake must pass consent=true along with their own consent metadata (IP, user agent, text version). Affiliates are contractually liable for the validity of their consent capture and indemnify MerchantSourced for any violation.

Audit trail

For any specific lead, on written request from a merchant, regulator, or buyer with standing, we will produce: the consent text shown, the IP address, the user agent, the timestamp, the consent text version, and the source URL. Send requests to legal@merchantsourced.com.

Opt-out

Reply STOP to any SMS, click unsubscribe in any email, or email optout@merchantsourced.com. Opt-outs are honored across our entire network within 10 business days as required by law.
